ORLANDO, Fla. — Downtown Orlando is about to get a vibrant new destination. On Monday, Orlando City Council officially approved À La Cart as the operator for Art², the city’s newest public park designed to bring together food, art, and community energy in the heart of downtown.
Located at Orange Avenue and Robinson Street, Art² is set to open this fall as a flexible, open-air venue featuring rotating local food vendors, a craft beverage station, modular seating, and immersive public art installations.
À La Cart, already known for curating Orlando’s popular food park experiences, will oversee day-to-day operations, manage vendors, coordinate events, and ensure the park stays welcoming and well-maintained for residents and visitors alike.
“Art² is a big step in making downtown Orlando a more dynamic, walkable, and creative space,” city leaders said in a statement. “We’re excited to work with a local partner like À La Cart to bring this vision to life.”
One of the park’s standout features will be a brand-new mural titled Urban Mirage 1, designed by Orlando artist Sitki Dogan. The mural blends geometric shapes and tropical colors with lifelike scenes from downtown Orlando, including swans and paddleboats—making it a perfect backdrop for photos and public events.
The park is part of Orlando’s larger DTO Action Plan, which focuses on creating an “Awesome Outdoor City” experience by revitalizing downtown spaces and creating more opportunities for connection.
Details on the mural unveiling and park programming will be announced in the coming weeks. City officials say Art² is designed as a welcoming, all-ages venue where locals and visitors alike can relax, grab a bite, enjoy local art, and experience the unique energy of downtown Orlando.
