ORLANDO, Fla. — Fall is bringing a packed schedule of comedy, Broadway, hip-hop, country music, orchestral performances and family entertainment to downtown Orlando’s Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.
From a candid night of comedy and conversation with DL Hughley and Don Lemon to the return of Hamilton, a performance by Common with Nu Deco Ensemble and the holiday tradition Clare and the Chocolate Nutcracker, Central Florida audiences have plenty to choose from through November.
Don Lemon and DL Hughley kick off the fall calendar
Journalist Don Lemon and comedian DL Hughley take the Walt Disney Theater stage Saturday, Sept. 12, at 7 p.m. for DL + DL ‘Anything Goes.’
The event pairs the former CNN anchor with one of the original Kings of Comedy for a conversation expected to range from race and social issues to pop culture and current events.
Country music veteran Clint Black follows on Friday, Sept. 18, at 7:30 p.m., while the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra presents its Young People’s Concert, Bach to the Future, at noon on Sept. 23. The family-focused concert returns Oct. 28 and Nov. 11.
Country quartet Little Big Town brings its For the Art of It Tour to Walt Disney Theater on Friday, Sept. 25, at 7:30 p.m.
Hamilton returns to Orlando
One of the fall’s biggest attractions arrives Sept. 29 when Hamilton begins a nearly three-week Orlando run.
The Tony, Grammy and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical combines hip-hop, R&B, jazz and traditional Broadway styles to tell the story of Alexander Hamilton. Performances continue through Oct. 18, with both evening and matinee shows scheduled.
The Tony Award-winning Buena Vista Social Club follows from Oct. 20 through Oct. 25. The Broadway musical celebrates the musicians and sounds associated with Cuba’s legendary Buena Vista Social Club and features an Afro-Cuban band. The production won four competitive Tony Awards in 2025, while its musicians received a Special Tony Award.
The Orlando Philharmonic’s The Ring in Concert is scheduled for Oct. 30 at 7 p.m., followed by Sonic Live in Concert on Nov. 1 at 7 p.m.
Common brings hip-hop and orchestra together
Monty Python’s Spamalot runs Nov. 3–5, with performances at 7:30 p.m.
On Nov. 7, UNDERTALE: The Determination Symphony brings music from the popular video game to life with an orchestra and gameplay footage. Performances are scheduled for 3 p.m. and 8 p.m.
One of the season’s standout performances arrives Friday, Nov. 13, at 8 p.m., when Grammy, Emmy and Academy Award-winning rapper and actor Common performs alongside Miami-based Nu Deco Ensemble.
The collaboration combines hip-hop, soul, storytelling and orchestral music.
Pop duo Air Supply returns to the stage on Nov. 19 at 8 p.m. as part of its A Matter of Time Tour, marking 50 years of music.
Clare and the Chocolate Nutcracker welcomes the holidays
The fall schedule closes with a Central Florida holiday tradition.
Clare and the Chocolate Nutcracker returns to the Dr. Phillips Center on Saturday, Nov. 28, at 7 p.m.
Produced by Orlando Community Arts, the production reimagines the traditional Nutcracker story as Clare travels with the Chocolate Nutcracker and Sugar Plum Fairy through cultures including Africa, the Caribbean, Asia, India and Brazil.
