ORLANDO, Fla. — Thousands gathered at Lake Eola Park as Orlando marked America’s 250th birthday with its annual Fireworks at the Fountain celebration, bringing together families, veterans, visitors and residents for an evening of patriotic festivities in the heart of downtown.
The celebration featured live entertainment, food vendors, and a fireworks display over Lake Eola, continuing a tradition that has become one of Central Florida’s signature Independence Day events.
Following the celebration, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer reflected on the evening’s significance in a message shared on social media.
“The power of community was on display tonight as Orlando celebrated America’s 250th birthday. During Fireworks at the Fountain at Lake Eola Park, we honored those who’ve served our country over the years and highlighted the bonds that we share as Americans,” Dyer wrote.
