[ORLANDO, FL] – A joint undercover operation involving the Orlando Police Department (OPD), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and multiple partner agencies has resulted in the arrest of 15 suspects accused of arranging to have sex with children online.
Operation Relentless Pursuit began March 26, 2025. During the operation, detectives and agents posed as minors offering sex in exchange for money, as well as adults exploiting children for sexual activity. The suspects then traveled to a predetermined location in Orlando to meet with a child they believed to be 13 or 14 years old.
The suspects range in age from 23 to 45. Their names, charges and additional details regarding their interactions with law enforcement are provided below.
Orlando Police Chief Eric Smith called the operation, “a clear example of OPD’s commitment to protecting children and holding offenders accountable,” adding, “I would like to remind parents to monitor their children’s online activity and report any suspicious incidents to their local law enforcement agency.”
This operation was conducted in conjunction with Homeland Security Investigations, the United States Secret Service, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, Seminole County Sheriff’s Office, Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, Port Orange Police Department, Lake City Police Department, Port St Lucie Police Department, Polk County Sheriff’s Office and Oviedo Police Department.
The OPD and the FBI are coordinating with the U.S. Attorney’s Office to pursue federal prosecution in select cases. Other cases will be prosecuted by the Statewide Prosecutor’s Office and the State Attorney’s Office for the 9th Judicial Circuit.
“This operation is an example of the ongoing, relentless determination of federal, state and local law enforcement in protecting our most vulnerable,” said FBI Tampa Division Special Agent in Charge Matthew Fodor. “This is tough work, and I commend these investigative teams in their tenacious pursuit to identify child predators and bring them to justice.” This remains an active ongoing investigation.
