Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts Spring Into Action

Tuesday, April 4 welcomes the amazingly resilient and iconic group Foreigner with lead vocalist Lou Gramm. The performance begins at 8:00 p.m. and will be a one-evening-only event.

Willy Wonka Jr. takes over the Alexis & Jim Pugh Theater on Thursday and Friday evenings, April 23 and April 24, at 7:30 p.m. for two enchanting evenings of family entertainment.

On Friday, April 24, Steinmetz Hall, recognized for its acoustic excellence, welcomes Opera Orlando presenting The Merry Widow at 7:30 p.m. for one evening. The production will return on Sunday, April 26, for a 2:00 p.m. matinee performance.

The Walt Disney Theater showcases the talents of comedic actor Chris Tucker on Friday, April 24, at 8:00 p.m. Known for his energetic delivery and distinctive voice, Tucker continues to be one of the most recognizable figures in comedy.

The ever-popular Shen Yun Performing Arts will be showcased on opening night, Monday, April 27, at 7:30 p.m., and will remain in residence through Tuesday, April 28, with a 2:00 p.m. matinee performance as well as a final evening performance at 7:30 p.m. With its blend of music, dance, and storytelling, this cultural production continues to draw audiences from across the region.

The Orlando Ballet performs The Great Gatsby at Steinmetz Hall on Thursday, April 30, and Friday, May 1, at 7:30 p.m. on both evenings. A matinee performance is scheduled for Saturday, May 2, at 2:00 p.m.

On Saturday, May 2, and Sunday, May 3, The Thorn will be presented at the Walt Disney Theater. Patrons are encouraged to check the box office for specific showtimes.

On Wednesday, May 6, One Night of Queen will be performed by Gary Mullen and The Works.

The Notebook enters the Dr. Phillips Center on Tuesday, May 12, for an extended run through Sunday, May 17, offering both matinee and evening performances. Guests should check the box office for showtimes.

On Tuesday, June 2, the highly entertaining and visually striking Six will be performed in the Walt Disney Theater for an extended run through June 7. Both matinee and evening performances are scheduled. Please check the box office for details and showtimes.

Country music superstar Vince Gill will perform at the Dr. Phillips Center on Thursday evening, June 18, at 7:30 p.m.

The Walt Disney Theater will feature Avatar in Concert (Film with Live Orchestra) on Saturday, June 20, at 7:00 p.m., ushering in the summer season with a unique cinematic and musical experience.
