
ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando police have arrested a suspect in connection with the deadly Ivey Lane shooting that claimed the life of a 17-year-old girl earlier this month, authorities announced Friday.
On April 1, 2026, at approximately 12:48 a.m., officers with the Orlando Police Department responded to a reported shooting in the 700 block of Ivey Lane. When officers arrived, they located a victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was later identified as Celebrity Green. She was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where she later died from her injuries.
Investigation Found Dispute Led to Shooting
Detectives determined the Ivey Lane shooting stemmed from an argument inside an apartment. According to investigators, the victim asked two individuals to leave the residence due to excessive noise.
During the altercation, one of the individuals allegedly produced a firearm and fired multiple rounds, striking the victim.
Authorities said the investigation involved interviews, evidence collection, and coordination between specialized units within the department.
Suspect Taken Into Custody by Fugitive and SWAT Units
Police identified the suspect as 20-year-old Osolomon Fitzhugh.
Today Fitzhugh was apprehended by the Orlando Police Department’s Fugitive Investigations Unit and SWAT Team. Officials said the arrest was carried out safely.
Fitzhugh has been charged with second-degree murder with a firearm.
Police confirmed that all individuals connected to the Ivey Lane shooting have been identified and accounted for.
