Florida A&M University (FAMU) has announced the official schedule for campus visits by the four finalists in its ongoing presidential search. From May 12 to May 15, 2025, the candidates will engage in a series of interviews, meetings, and community events designed to introduce them to the FAMU family and provide opportunities for feedback.
The campus visits mark a critical phase in the University’s search for its next leader. FAMU Board of Trustees Chair Kristin Harper emphasized the importance of community involvement throughout the process.
“This is a pivotal moment for Florida A&M University,” said Harper. “Bringing the finalists to campus provides an invaluable opportunity for our students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members to engage directly with the candidates. We encourage our entire University community to participate and look forward to vibrant discussions and insights that will help shape the future of FAMU.”
Each finalist will spend a full day on campus meeting with key University stakeholders, including the Board of Trustees, senior leadership, faculty, students, and alumni. In addition to formal interviews, the visit includes campus tours, lunch with university leaders and students, and a public meet-and-greet with alumni and community members. All sessions—except for lunches and tours—will be held in person and livestreamed for broader accessibility.
