Update Regarding Fatal Shooting During Vehicle Burglary at 4881 Cypress Woods Drive
[Orlando, FL] Yesterday, the Orlando Police Department (OPD) released information about the arrest of an additional suspect involved in the vehicle burglary that occurred on December 26th at 4881 Cypress Woods Drive. OPD detectives identified suspect Jackson Similus, 9/1/98. He has been arrested and charged with 2nd Degree Felony Murder and Burglary of a Conveyance.

On December 26, at approximately 5:18 a.m., Orlando Police responded to the Summergate Condominiums located at 4881 Cypress Woods Drive in reference to a shooting.
A male suspect, identified as Widlerson Pierre, was shot during a vehicle burglary and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The shooter remained at the scene.
