OPD Makes Arrest In Lewd and Lascivious Case

Orlando, FL  – On Friday, May 3, 2024 at approximately 8:30 a.m., a student was walking to school in the 200 block of North Eola Avenue when a suspect in a blue sedan approached her. The suspect was unclothed and exposing himself while in the vehicle. The student was able to walk away.

Detectives with the Orlando Police Department’s Special Victims Unit were able to identify the suspect in this investigation as Gilmer Mauricio Medina (W/M 34yoa). Today, the Orlando Police Department’s Fugitive Investigative Unit located and apprehended Medina. Our Special Victims Unit has charged Medina with Lewd and Lascivious Behavior-Exhibition and Exposure Of Sexual Organs 1st Offense.
