Woman Indicted for First Degree Murder for Drowning Her Daughter

OSCEOLA COUNTY, FL – On Wednesday, an Osceola County grand jury formally indicted Kelsey Glover, 35, for First Degree Murder and Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon for the murder of her daughter and an attack on a woman.

On Nov. 20, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office received a call from a woman saying Glover attacked her with a hammer and drowned her daughter. Deputies arrived at the home in Kissimmee and found the girl unresponsive. She was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

The investigation revealed Glover drowned her daughter in the bathtub and there was further evidence she attacked the female witness with a hammer.

On Dec. 4, the State presented sufficient evidence to a grand jury to secure an indictment against Glover for First Degree Murder and Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
