On Thursday, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) announced the arrest of a third deputy in a little over a month.
In a media alert on Thursday afternoon, OCSO stated Corporal Oxilise Jeannot was arrested on felony charges of Grand Theft ($5,000 or more) and Scheme to Defraud in connection with a criminal investigation for falsifying time sheets.
According to OCSO, Jeannot was hired in September 2017. She has been relieved of all law enforcement duties without pay while the criminal case is under way. OCSO stated, “Once the criminal proceedings are complete, an OCSO administrative investigation will be conducted, and the results of that investigation will be public.”
Sheriff Mina’s statement about the arrest of Corporal Jeannot: “At the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, we hold our deputies to the highest ethical standards, and we will not tolerate anyone breaking the law within our ranks.”
Another Arrest
In addition to Jennot’s arrest on Thursday, Orange County Sheriff’s Deputy Francisco Estrella was arrested on April 14th on charges of Interception of Wire, Oral or Electronic Communication; Disclosure of Wire, Oral or Electronic Communication; Disclosure or Use of Confidential Criminal Justice Information; Unlawful Use of a Two-Way Communication Device; Accessing Computer or Electronic Devices Without Authorization or Exceeding Authorization..
Sheriff Mina’s statement about the arrest of Deputy Estrella: “These are very serious criminal allegations. It is completely unacceptable for any law enforcement officer to misuse the power and authority of their job,” said Sheriff John Mina. “At the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, we hold our deputies to the highest ethical standards, and we will not tolerate anyone breaking the law within our ranks.”

Deputy Arrested on May 7th
On May 7th, Corporal Patricio Goris was arrested on charges of misdemeanor battery.
Sheriff Mina’s statement about the arrest of Corporal Goris: “At the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, we hold our deputies to the highest ethical standards, and we will not tolerate anyone breaking the law within our ranks.”
All three deputies were arrested on unrelated charges.
