Community Safety Update from Orlando Police regarding murder suspect
On March 21, 2024, at approximately 3:49 a.m., Orlando Police Officers responded to the 4000 block of Watch Hill Road in reference to shots fired in the area. Upon arrival, Officers located an individual in the driveway with multiple gunshot wounds. Responding officers administered aid until Orlando Fire Department arrived on scene. The victim was transported to the hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
The victim has been identified as Robert George Bowen (B/M, 50yoa).
The Florida Sun asked twice if residents should be concerned about a gunman being on the loose or if this was an isolated incident. The Orlando Police Department did not respond to our question.
