
SANFORD, Fla. â Sanford Police have arrested Silverio Edinson Paez Lezama, 47, on 44 counts of possessing child pornography following a cyber tip and investigation.
The case began in December 2024, when the Sanford Police Department received a report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). The report indicated child pornography had been uploaded using the Kik Messenger app.
Police traced the upload to a home at 8105 Stonebrook Drive in Sanford, where Paez Lezama lived.
On June 6, 2025, Sanford Police investigators and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) Cybercrimes Task Force executed a search warrant at the residence. During the search, investigators found approximately 900 illegal images on Paez Lezamaâs cell phone.
Police confirmed the images met Floridaâs criteria for enhanced child pornography charges.
Paez Lezama now faces the following charges:

Possession of 10 or More Images of Child Pornography (a felony-level offense under Florida law)
Officers arrested Paez Lezama on July 15, 2025. He was booked at the John E. Polk Correctional Facility.
