Dozens of Red Lobster restaurants around the country have closed their doors due to the company filing Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
But, almost 580 locations throughout the U.S. and Canada will stay open according the restaurant chain.
The restaurant is known for its hot Cheddar Bay biscuits and their “Endless Shrimp.”
Unfortunately, the “Endless Shrimp” and bad choices among executives is to blame for the closures.
Darden Restaurants previously owned Red Lobster but sold it to a private equity firm about ten years ago.
