One Florida woman kicks off her holiday season with a substantial gift.
Tuesday, the Florida Lottery announced Sarah Caceres, 44, of Winter Haven, claimed a $1 million prize from the $5 MONOPOLY™ SECRET VAULT Scratch-Off game at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. Caceres chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $576,900.00.
Caceres purchased her winning ticket from Citgo Express, located at 4850 Cypress Gardens Road in Winter Haven. The retailer received a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
This game has overall odds of 1-in-3.95, and offers $132 million in cash prizes, including six top prizes of $1 million, and features more than 9.5 million winning tickets.
