Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer Endorses Travaris McCurdy for City of Orlando Commissioner District 5

City of Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer has officially endorsed Travaris McCurdy as Interim City of Orlando

Commissioner, District 5. “As a former legislative aide and state representative, Travaris McCurdy has a

track record of supporting District 5 residents and partnering with the City of Orlando. He has

demonstrated a strong commitment to advocating for his constituents and supporting important

programs like Parramore Kidz Zone. I am confident he will be an excellent representative for District 5 and

look forward to working with him. Travaris McCurdy stated, “It is an incredible honor to be endorsed by

City of Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer.”

 

Mayor Dyer has prioritized investments in District 5, and I look forward to working together on future

initiatives and policies to enhance the quality of life for all District 5 residents.”

Additionally, Travaris McCurdy has secured endorsements from the Orlando Professional Firefighters,

Orange County Classroom Teachers’ Association, and Florida Rising. Early voting for Commission District

5 began Monday, June 10, and ends Sunday, June 16. Special Election Day is on Tuesday, June 18. For
