In June, deputies responded to a shooting in the area of Pershing Avenue and Goldenrod Road. Upon arrival, they located two victims – a 19-year-old man and a woman in her 20s. Both were transported to the hospital, where the man, 19-year-old Angel Issak Martinez, was pronounced dead. The woman was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
On Saturday, deputies arrested, Amarion Rashaun Hammons and Jabez Actie. Both of the 22-year-old men were booked on charges of First Degree Murder with a Firearm, Attempted First Degree Murder with a Firearm, and Shooting into an Occupied Vehicle. In addition, they were both charged with Trafficking in Fentanyl.
