MUMBAI, India — Actor Jacqueline Fernandez, along with her YOLO Foundation, has been working round-the-clock to offer help to the ones in need in the Covid-19 pandemic. The actor recently shared pictures of her feeding the stray animals that might have been abandoned due to the lockdown norms.

Taking to her Instagram handle, Fernandez said her foundation is helping feed stray animals around the country.

“Big shout out and thank you to @droolsindia for donating food and joining me and my team @jf.yolofoundation to feed thousands of stray animals around the country,” she wrote.

“Team @jf.yolofoundation and I have been actively volunteering at animal shelters around Mumbai to understand the plight of strays animals everywhere, and it has truly been heartbreaking.”

“I want to thank and appreciate all those who come forth and work towards making a difference to their lives #bekind @thefelinefoundation @wsdindia.”

Recently, the actor also donated face masks and safety shields to Mumbai Police and Pune Police.

The “Dishoom” actress is sparing no effort in helping people amid these testing times. In May this year, she visited a non-government organization that provides meals to needy people in Mumbai and helped them make and distribute food to those in need.

Fernandez shared pictures on her Instagram and said that she was honored to help people in these testing times.

“Mother Teresa once said, ‘Peace begins when the hungry are fed.’ I was truly humbled and inspired to visit Mumbai @rotibankfdn today, which is run by former Mumbai police commissioner Mr. D Sivanandan,” she wrote.

“Roti Bank has prepared and distributed meals to millions of hungry people till date, even during the pandemic.”

“They are the perfect example of what #kindnessbrigade aspires to do, and I am honored to be of help to them during these times.”

“We only live once! Let’s make this life worth it by helping others in need and sharing the #storiesofkindness of those around us!”

Fernandez had set up the “You Only Live Once” foundation in collaboration with several NGOs that cater to the different needs in society during the pandemic.

The “Kick” actress announced on her Instagram handle and said her foundation would try to make whatever little difference it can in this world.

“We have this one life; let’s do whatever we can to make a difference in this world!!” she wrote.

“I am proud to announce the launch of the YOLO Foundation, an initiative to Create and Share Stories of Kindness.”

“In these challenging times, the Yolo Foundation has partnered with several NGOs to help in whichever way we possibly can.”

“Watch this space to know how you can contribute and make a difference to the lives around you #staysafe #spreadlove #helpothers.”

On the work front, Fernandez has her kitty filled with some exciting projects like “Cirkus,” “Bhoot Police,” “Kick 2,” “Ram Setu,” “Attack,” and “Bachchan Pandey.”
