Harris Secures Enough Delegates to Become Democratic Nominee

Vice President Kamala Harris has now secured enough delegates to become the Democratic Party’s nominee for President of the United States and take on Donald Trump.

On the social media platform X, Vice President Harris posted, “I am honored to be the Democratic nominee for President of the United States. I will officially accept the nomination next week. This campaign is about people coming together, fueled by love of country, to fight for the best of who we are.”

Harris is set to announce her running mate in Philadelphia at any time.

A video, said to be leaked by Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker, is circulating on social media praising the Vice President for choosing Governor Josh Shapiro as her running mate.
