Glen Gilzean Sworn In As Orange County Supervisor of Elections

Glen Gilzean was sworn in as the 1st African American to become Supervisor of Elections for Orange County, Florida. Gilzean was appointed to the office by Governor Ron DeSantis following the retirement of former Supervisor of Elections, Bill Cowles.

Gilzean is best known as CEO and former Director of the Central Florida Urban League. Recently, Gilzean served as an administrator for the state of Florida in the transition of the Disney Reedy Creek District.
Gilzean was Sworn in by Florida Supreme Court Honorable Justice Meredith Sasso. The ceremony took place to place at the Supervisor of Elections office in Orange County. The event was attended by 200 hundred guests.
