On Saturday, November 16, 2024, District 4 City Commissioner Patty Sheehan and specially-trained veterinarians, volunteers and kayakers participated in the City of Orlando’s annual Swan Round-Up at Lake Eola Park. At the round-up, the city’s iconic swans received their yearly medical check-ups and well-being assessments.
During the annual Swan Round-Up, specially-trained volunteers corralled the swans, including the eight new swan additions, at the west end of the park where a temporary clinic was set up for them to be weighed, inoculated and provided an individual medical exam by a veterinarian.
