JAIPUR, India — The level of craze is so high for Money Heist Season 5, to be released on Sept. 3, that a Jaipur-based IT company has declared a holiday for its employees on the day to watch the new season of the web series.

“All the employees are toiling away for the past two years,” said Abhishek Jain, CEO of Verve Logic.

“We decided to give some free time and thought of showing them a web series in office.”

“But then we thought of giving a day leave to them to watch the web series which will be released on Netflix on Sept. 3. We will give a subscription to the platform to those who don’t have it. Everyone is excited and happy,” said Jain.

According to the company, giving a day off during a tight schedule will help the employees spend some quality time with their family members and help reduce stress.

“Have Been Going Over the Love We have Received.! Yes, it is real, and we are absolutely happy to announce an off on Sept. 3 naming it to be “Netflix & Chill Holiday” on the release of the final season of Money Heist,” tweeted Verve Logic.

The company issued a notification declaring the holiday, saying that “Sometimes moments of chill be the best pills for energy at your work.”

The CEO signing off with Bella Ciao said, “We know after all the stress & hustle, ‘Ek break to banta hai’ [A break is necessary].”

“We had our “bank work” excuse ready for our boss, but this is fantastic!” Netflix India tweeted, reacting to the notification by Verve Logic.

The original name of the series is La Casa De Papel. The show follows eight thieves who work towards robbing the Royal Bank of Spain.

A global entertainment analytics firm, Parrot Analytics, found that La Casa De Papel (Money Heist) is 22.9 times the demand of the average TV series in India in the last 30 days.

“About 2.7 percent of all shows in this market have this level of demand,” the firm said.

“On a rolling 30-day average basis, when compared the TV demand in India for La Casa De Papel (Money Heist) to the preceding 30 days: Demand has increased by 1.2 percent.”

“La Casa De Papel (Money Heist) ranks at the 99.9th percentile in the Drama genre. This means La Casa De Papel (Money Heist) has higher demand than 99.9% of all Drama titles in India.” Parrot Analytics said.
